Say Yes To Flavor's full length release is best described as groovy chaotic grindcore. I have never heard this, well, flavourful approach to grindcore before and I must say I enjoy it very much. Straight from the opening track "The Tape", the album follows a flow and feel as if it’s one lengthy track which keeps the brutality flowing non stop. And the kicker is... it's just one dude! Writing, programming, performing, he does it all and does it well!

Say Yes To Flavor’s full length release is best described as groovy chaotic grindcore. I have never heard this, well, flavourful approach to grindcore before and I must say I enjoy it very much.

Straight from the opening track “The Tape”, the album follows a flow and feel as if it’s one lengthy track which keeps the brutality flowing non stop.

And the kicker is… it’s just one dude! Writing, programming, performing, he does it all and does it well!
But it’s not always brutality; every now and then a calmness comes over the music, unexpected yet well placed.

Definitely an act to see live if you haven’t already! Groovy crushing guitar riffs, mountainous blasting drums and catchy hooks make this album a must have for grind fans and death fans alike.

Recommended for fans of: Genghis Tron, Despised Icon

Overall rating: 7/10
